Larry Brown - Just Go

Its that time of the year for Larry Brown's "I don't know if I'm going to return" speech. Well let me help you out Larry - LEAVE. His personnel moves have crippled another franchise and he will leave town after finally realizing that the team he put together just can't win. Larry Brown is a great coach, but he doesn't have a clue when it comes to evaluating talent. And Larry, don't forget to take your puppet Billy King with you.

No doubt, his GM moves are terrible. Philly fans want him out (including myself, but not as coach). You should see the uproar on ESPN boards.

after a few days of listening to the talk radio here in Philly, i think it's a done deal in Larry Brown leaving. everybody sense that he's finally done here. i love the guy as a coach. i have nothing against him. he got my team to a Finals. yes he has been bad as a GM but all i gotta do is remember the days of not being in the playoffs with Shawn Bradley and Clarence Weatherspoon and Sharone Wright...ugh. but when Larry leaves which i am saying myself also now, Billy King will now be the GM as he really shoulda been but hasn't...and the personnel moves will be much better. and i think we should give Mo Cheeks a ring-a-ding ding and see if we came bring him back from Portland.

Crippled the franchise? He's one of the best coaches in the NBA. Made the Finals in 2000 and since then all playoffs. Since the 98 season (third year in Philly) he has made the playoffs with the Sixers. Crippled, huh?
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

The Rockets have Larry Brown on their list of 4 coaches they would like to replace Rudy T with.

Oh yeah! Hope he doesn't go to North Carolina and comes to either NY or Houston. Either one is fine with me.

Yes, crippled the franchise. Since when is making the playoffs the goal of an NBA season? That is the mindset of organizations who don't win. Philly doesn't have the talent to win in the sorry east, which he was responsible for bringing in. The team is saddled by longterm contracts to sorry *** players (Keith Van Horne, Greg Buckner and yes, Eric Snow). They don't have the oppurtunity to get significantly better. So again, he has crippled the franchise.
