Well if you mean "fun" as arcade (they are not synonyms, i.e. to me fun means realism) then probably Live. ID is more like a sim. But it does require some big *** editing before it plays almost like a true sim. On default it plays like a half sim, half arcade game.

So I think ID would suit you. And you have sliders to make it whatever you want

Yes, but there's a little thing called Tempo (and many other adjustments). It really depends on where your sliders are at. It's a sim for me.

id have to say either nba live 2003, or nba street, thats a great game also.

Hmm,
I agree that ID '03 is probably the best but I have heard rumors that ID 04 is the same game with slightly better graphics and online play. Can you direct me to some info on gameplay improvements?

Nba 2k3 is about as much fun as playing snake 2 on my mobile phone if you ask me. I preferred Id2003 way more. Each to there own i guess.

2k3 is still better than live though.

2k3 was the only game I played but it was boring. I had to rearrange my roster so everyone but Tmac was under 70 rating then make my crash boards 0 and my opponents max just to make it a challenge. Not to mention using the hardest sliders I could find. 2k3=
