I don't know. I could definately see how one could agree but I'm not sure I do. I love the way the CPU plays in ID2003 but I think that's about the only thing they do in ID2003 better. I love the way the AI plays D, runs plays, and play like real life counterparts but the rebounds, fouls, loose controls, atmosphere, lack of stadiums put it on the same plateau with Sega's game. If I had to choose, I would choose NBA2K3 with sliders of course.
This year, I have a feeling that both games will be terrific. I'm sure that VC has played Inside Drive and said "Wow, it's a shame that these things don't happen in our game!". ID2003 opened the eyes of the guys who make NBA2K. I think we will see some of the things that ID do so well in NBA2K4. I think Microsoft's series will continue to improve on the basis of NBA2K3.
