People talk about all of the hoops games except for this one. Why do people not mention this game. Do you not know about it or was is so bad that it couldn't even be mentioned?

It had good player models, but losing the ESPN licence probably won't be too good for the game. Although I'm sure it didn't make enough money to afford to out bid Sega keeping the ESPN stuff.
Also, the game's not really talked about too much on the board because there isn't very much info about the game out yet.

Still, even though info on the new one hasn't been released, there should still be at least ONE person saying "i can't wait for it" or "i hope they fix the (blank) from last year" or "this game will rock, you'll see". But there's none of that. Why?

There was info and pictures released on this game at E3.
Also it may have been changed to Tip Off '03 which is what gamestop.com has it listed as now.
