    Your team's shopping list...

    Cavs

    -Another reliable postup big
    -Shotblocker
    -Stretch PF

Hickson and Jackson can't be relied on yet, and while Z should murk most backup C's, if Shaq goes down we will still need someone who can get us easy buckets. Also, even in his advanced age, Big Ben was our best interior shot stuffer. Bron and possibly Moon are decent on the weakside, but I would like a Gortat-like tough guy to challenge shots. Again, not ready to trust Hickson and Jackson.

For the shooting four we've been looking for, Moon can play the role in small lineups, but I really don't want to have to rely on him.

    Where are your teams holes?

A backup point guard that doesn't qualify for social security.

    That's pretty much all.

My team is Philly...so it's pointless to even have a shopping list.

We're the East's perennial 8th and out seed.

              -Ownership
              -Coaching
-A PF that can consistently rebound and defend, which we've been missing from the position since K-Mart left. Not trying to have to rely on Bobby Simmons, and Yi unless he somehow transforms into the Yi that folks have been expecting to see since he came into the league.

Haha, sorry, your stream of depressed posts in these threads are just funny to me for some reason. I hope your Suns make the playoffs just playing like the old days on the basis of Nash and Amare being awesome.

                Nuggets:

Bench scorer (preferably a SG/SF combo) to replace some of JR's bench offense
Backup big that can score in the post
AND/OR (ideally the same player, but that's not bloody likely)
Backup big that can hit the 3
Someone over 7 feet tall with some heft to defend the bigger post players (just spot minutes)

The problem is that we have enough bigs who play big minutes that there's only about 15 MPG leftover (not counting foul trouble)... anyone who is able to score in the post and/or hit the 3 from the 4/5 spot is probably too expensive or would require more PT. We got Malik Allen, who can at least sink the 15-footer, but a spread the floor PF would be a nice addition to the bench unit since Birdman is basically chained to the basket area.

Really not sure what Denver will do... they still have that big trade exception from the Camby deal, but it expires in November, which isn't enough time to wait for a team to get desperate and trade a big-time player. They probably don't want to spend $10 mil on another player when they're over the tax already, but I really think they'll use that exception to do something. They have Steven Hunter expiring for about $3.5 mil... not sure if he's back into playing condition (doubt it), but he and Kleiza are probably their most valuable trade pieces. Shipping off LK for a good SG/SF would be my ideal, and then swapping Hunter and/or Allen for another younger big... who the hell knows though. Warkentien's gotta have something up his sleeve... definitely not a guy afraid of making big moves.
