I'd deffinitely take a known NBA superstar above him since you know they can already play in the league and have about a 1% chance of being a flop, where as James has a larger chance to flop since he's yet to play in this league. But everyone's entitled to their opinion, at least if you started with James you'd get a few lottery balls for the first 2-3 years to build your team with.

You have to think honestly what are the chances of lebron being a bust. i know he has a better chance then kobe but really lebron just such a good player really

Tim Duncan is easily the choice. He is a extremely skilled big man who can dominate down low. That is the only reason that he goes ahead of Kobe or TMac.

I would take Kobe. He has a great wrok ethic and has the drive to be the greatest player of all time. I would take T-mac but i question his work ethic. Kobe is clutch and in a few years he will be even better. If he has his own team built around him like Tim Duncan i think he could contend for a championship.

He's a good player against high school kids. We have no idea what his mental make up is. What if he struggles from the start, will it ruin him in the future? Kobe faught through his troubled start and turned into a superstar, we don't know if LaBron can do that.

Ya, I would have to agree. There are too many unknowns. We'll see in 3 years tho. Maybe even after next year.

But for me, I would go with a young star/superstar now. That's why I would stick to either TD or Kobe.
