remember amare stoudamire, he wasnt expected to do that well then when Tom G. got hurt there was alot of pressure on him to keep up the intensity, well he answered the call and took it one step above and then he became a target and he helped phoenix get as far as they did. (rebound help, scoring threat) name it he was there for it.

if you compare physical readiness LeBron is 2 inches shorter and 10 pounds lighter. i believe he can do what amare did except for getting the cavs to the playoffs w/o a player off the bench that can play offense and defense

You just proved my point, these guys dominated HSer's, and then they went to college and STILL didnt make the impact that they were "supposed" to. James has a harder tiime then he will ever realize. Wait till he plays some one who can play D. Noone in HS is a good defender, especially when you're a foot taller than most. PF's and 1 Center dominates the league. The last 4 Championship teams have been Big Men Driven(LA last 3, SA in 98-99, and in the finals again this year). The last 4 finals MVP's have been Big men(Shaq & Duncan).

What about all the high school kids that come out early and don't get drafted? All those guys are studs too, but we never hear about them. Bottom line is, the draft is a crap shoot, period. As of today, LaBron has more of a chance at failing than he does at superstdom.

James will not be a superstar. oh BTW
Leon Smith
Korleone Young
Ellis Richardson
Taj McDavid
Jonathan Bender
DeShawn Stevenson
Darius Miles
Kwame Brown
And no other H.S. player has ever had this type of pressure...EVERY guy he plays will go after him like theres no tomorrow!! Good luck King

What??? So how do you explain Kobe, Tmac, Kemp, O'Neal? They played against the same H.S. players...in fact Lebron played a far higher level of competition than any of them and managed to be a man among boys.
