it would be a good series but the bulls would win... but the series i wanted to see (but it never happend) would`ve been the 93-94 Rockets or 94-95 Rockets VS the Bulls!! now that would`ve been a series!

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Well, it took the Rockets 7 games to beat the Knicks - and that same year the Knicks needed a phantom foul to get by the Bulls in 7 games WITHOUT JORDAN.....I don't think that would've been much of a series. Besides, the Sonics and Jazz teams that the Bulls beat were just as good as those Rockets IMO.

Bulls win NO CONTEST Spurs win maybe 1 game. The Spurs can't shoot free throws and the big leads they blow would be taken advantage of by the unmatched killer instinct of Michael Jordan.

Bulls. No way the Spurs could even touch them.

I think that the old Bulls would kill any team these days past or present if they played the Lakers from now Jordan would be unstoppable and who would they have to guard Shaq he would dominate Luc Longley. But the old Bulls are just way better than the Spurs now how could you even question that the series would be 4-0 Bulls.

I agree with all of the above. Bulls would cream this Spurs team.

But I think the 99 Spurs team would give those Bulls teams some serious hell. Think about it.

Rodman could contain Duncan, but Duncan would STILL be very effective.

Robinson was still capable of blowing up and going for a 25+ point 10+ reb. performance. The Bulls would get exposed inside.

The combination of Elliot, (Jared)Jackson, Ferry, Rose could somewhat off set Pippen.

Mario Elie could stick with Jordan. Elie was a great defensive player and gave MJ hell his whole career. MJ would still get his though.

That would be a good matchup!

Nah, Ellie never gave Jordan fits. Ellie was a good defender, true, but MJ still used to get his 30+ ppg on him.

And the Bulls used to play center-by-committee on teams with a big inside presence. Notice their success against Ewing, Mourning, and Kemp back in the days.

On the '95-'98 Bulls, Rodman would lock down or frustrate the younger Duncan and Longely and Wennington would make their 12 fouls count against Robinson. The Spurs still would have to deal with Toni, Harp, and Pip and they would have no answer whatsoever for MJ.

The '91-'93 Bulls would have Cartwright locking down Robinson like he used to do Ewing, and Pippen would help Grant at times on Duncan, although it should be noted that Grant was a great defensive player back then.

And of course this younger version of MJ would probably average 40ppg against the Spurs.
