KVH is not better than Richard Jefferson.

These "analyst" need to think. The Nets are in the finals, again. So they obviously are doin fine.

Jefferson has had a tough time in the finals, but it's not too bad. I think people are over reacting.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

Whoever is saying that Jefferson sucks and a liability on O obviously has no concept of basketball. Jefferson was one of the most improved players in the NBA this year in only his second year. If his game keeps developing he definately will be an all star within a few years. He's done bad because he is not confident in his shot, and Bruce Bowen is shutting him down. He's been way too hesitant on offense.

True, RJ is still developing and will be very good in a few years. Right now I'd rather take KVH.

EWRMETS, you have to realize that alot of the comments being made about the Nets now are coming from people who rarely see them play. They are never on National TV so what they see in the playoffs is how they think these players play all year round.

Actually guys, I said he was just as much of a liability on O as KVH would be on D. I know the guy is still developing, and I've seen plenty of Nets games. I like RJ actually, but it's true he needs to develop his jumper. Teams know that is his main weakness, and that's why I said if he's being smothered, and hammered if he tries to go inside, he's going to need that jumper, or fade away J to compensate a bit.

Sure he'll develop into a pretty nice player, especially with his athleticism, and coordination. At the moment though, he's struggling at the wrong time, and KVH would probably have helped on O a bit more than RJ is now.

The Nets don't need KVH at all, in fact I wish the Sixers would just trade him for a shooter and a big body.

The Nets are just fine with Jefferson. People are forgeting that he's a sophomore in the league. Very few second year players are important pieces to their teams that go to the finals....

RJ just needs to seasoning...thats all.
