This game has the most replayability of any b-ball title on the market with the Career Mode. Too bad that my man EWRMETS is right though.....the game is so ugly you can't play it for 5min without vomiting! If Sony is not going to hire new artist to develope this game, then they need to scrap it! Cuz compared to the competition Shootout is really a complete waste of time!

Game needs more than pretty pigtails to make it worthwhile...the gameplay, animation and control have issues. I will agree that Live and Shootout produce more initiative gameplay features (Freestyle,Career Mode) than the other titles, however; neither has pulled off anything they promised to this point. The sales pitch in their promo again boast graphical improvement, which is clearly a farce......I doubt it will provide any real improvements or competition this year.

I'll buy this game if they can live up with there promises. I don't care about graphics though. But I have to wait and see what Sega and EA has to offer before I decide.

The game needs alot of work, imo they need to start over. Sony needs to drop 989 sports
