It's bad enough that Richard Jefferson, Jason Kidd and Aaron Williams were the only players that showed up tonight, but it is horrible watching a game on ABC. The worst part is Tom Tolbert, who was a replacement for Jayson Williams last year in the NBC halftime show, and just has to be one of the worst commentators I have ever seen. He makes ridiculous statements that are usually wrong, and has to quickly be corrected by Bill Walton of all people. Please ABC, bring back Snapper Jones and Marv Albert. I'm thinking of watching Game 6 on mute to avoid Tolbert's awful commentary, and ABC focusing on TnA instead of the basketball game. If I want to see hot girls I'll watch porn, what's the need for the constant shots of hot female fans?

I thought the same thing last round. All Walton did was rip apart the Pistons and praise the Nets so much. It got to the point where I had to turn on the Radio and listen to Mahorn do the PbP. The Chris Rock thing about Kidd taking more shots than 50 Cent was funny though. When they went back to the game Walton and Tolbert were laughing like they got the joke. -

Walton can never call a game subjectively because he always picks a team to root for, and then discredits anything the other team does. When the Nets were down by 2 in this game, he was talking like the series was over. I don't mind him though when he has good people around him, but Tolbert is even worse then him. And what credibility does Tom Tolbert have anyways? Every single player in this series including Tamar Slay is better then Tom Tolbert was.Comment

I dont think Tolbert is that bad, i think he's funny when he starts rippin on someone(and alot of the time it's Bill). You dont have to be a great player to be a good announcer.Comment

You people are all wrong. Tolbert is the man!!!!!! He brings some great comic relief for an incredibly BORING series. It's Walton who I can't stand. When a player does good, he rides their jock and treats them like a god. When they play bad he just keeps trashing them until they do good. We don't need every commentator to be a straight-faced loser who talk like there's a crowbar up their a$$, we need more of the humour that Tolbert brings.
By the way, I would like to see Marv Albert and Snapper do the Finals next year.Comment
