Well TD is 7 foot and played with an already well established 7 foot center in robinson. So your saying Duncan will stay a power forward next year unless the spurs pick up someone as big or bigger than TD? I'm pretty sure Tim will be a Center next year unless they get someone like brad miller on the team.
As for who i would pick as of right now between shaq and tim, i would go with Tim Duncan. I do consider Shaq as one of the best Centers of all time, and whoever doesn't think so is in denial. But Shaq is passing his prime and is much more prone to injury than the already in his Prime Tim Duncan.
I also like Tim's attitude much better. He seems much more humble and I believe a much better leader than Shaq. Both can produce similar stats so i'll take the one that'll be less of a headache.
