    M. Daniels finally to the Celts

For the bi-annual exception. 1 year 2 million

Rasheed and Daniels. Not too shabby. The top 3 in the East are looking stout.

Now they have someone other than PP who can create a little offense and also got someone who can guard three positions exceptionally well. He's exactly what they needed out of Tony Allen.

I can't say who I favor going to the East Finals.

Boston doesn't have a backup point guard though.....

Great pick up for the C's.

I've always wondered when guys took so little money if teams are allowed to give them behind the scenes perks to sweeten up the deal so they could sign

It should be even funner to watch the C's now that they actually go legitimately 9 deep. 10 if Tony Allen finally shows up.

I expect Daniels to eat up some of Ray's/PP's regular season minutes. Hopefully he can actually stay healthy LOL

Ray Allen's minutes need to be montitored more closely than they were last year. 38 minutes per game is far too much and its no wonder his jumpers were coming up short in the second round of the playoffs.

About time. What's the latest on Tony Allen?

What about Tony Allen? His knee?

Who will BOS get to backup Rondo? Do they expect House to do it?

The current plan is to have Daniels handle the ball when Rondo is out. They may also give the second rounder Lester Hudson a shot depending on how training camp goes and whether or not they sign a vet guard before then. I think they should pick up someone on the cheap like Arroyo.

Took the words out of my mouth. I'm sure Danny has looked at Arroyo and considered that option, I just don't know what we'd offer him.

Daniels is one of my favorite players in the league. Great combo guard that can guard three positions.

He really carried Indy some games last year. Funny how he is going to be a ninth man now.

I would wager that Daniels isn't going to be the 9th man. He'll share the 6th man role with Rasheed or Perkins.

I would guess that BOS would love to cut down on the regular season mileage to Ray and PP, which Daniels can play both their positions.

It would make sense for Daniels to be the first off the bench.

Assuming Perk starts, I think Rasheed will often be used as first off the bench because Perk tends to get in foul trouble early, and who knows if KG's knee is at 100%.

Boston is looking good. It seems that age and health will be their biggest question marks, but that's a worst case scenario. Either way, at this point I think they're better than Cleveland.
