Re: What if NBA careers.....
2. That's crazy talk, I think. But nothing to go on other than what I think.
Doubt it. The Nash/D'Antoni marriage was a match made in heaven. Nash was perfect for the D'Antoni system, and D'Antoni was perfect for Nash's abilities/shortcomings. Nash wasn't going to explode the way he did under Don Nelson, even if they were running a fast break offense anyway like they were.Comment

Re: What if NBA careers.....
If Dominique Wilkins wasn't traded to the Clippers, He would have stayed in the NBA his whole career.
If Jay Williams didn't hit that tree, the Bulls wouldn't have Kirk Hinrich.
If Kareem Abdul Jabar house didn't burn down, will he stayed in the NBA for 20 years.
If Chris Webber knees didn't go bad, he might have won more than one ring.Boy this habit is as bad as dope!!!

If the corrupted Tim Donaghy didn't ref Game 3 of the 2007 NBA Western Semis and if Robert Horry didn't get dirty, the Suns would have had a ring that year--easily.Comment

If the Bulls management didn't have such big egos, they would have won 2 more rings.
If the Bulls didn't trade Elton Brand for Tyson Chandler, they would be a better team today.Boy this habit is as bad as dope!!!

Re: What if NBA careers.....
The biggest what if? in basketball, Ready? What if The Blazers chose Michael Jordan instead of Sam Bowie? What if Michael became a Blazer??!!! The Bulls probably don't have any rings, and Portland becomes basketball heaven for Blazer fans. Picture The whole Bulls era nonexistent, It could have happened. I can't even imagine MJ rocking a Rip City uni.
WOW.....it just wouldn't be right would it.
I wish Jordan didn't come back for the Wizards stintMy All-time Favourite players is order:

what if the sonics kept scottie pippen instead of trading him to the bulls for olden polynice? that would have had just as big of an impact on the bulls championships as portland drafting jordan...

If Steve Nash, Amar'e Stoudemire and Shawn Marion don't have their vasectomies then they come back from down 3-2 in 2007 against the Spurs, win their "rightful" championship and their fans quit crying.San Antonio Spurs 5 - Time ('99, '03, '05, '07, '14) NBA Champions

Ouch, those are some big mistakes, I forgot about Charlotte picking Vlade over Kobe, The Hornets might still be in Charlotte now. But back to Pippen, Damn capone what if Pippen was a Sonic and he teamed up with Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp, Do you think the Sonics would have a ring?

You might have a ring, as long as they had kept The Reign Man from eating or impregnating half the women in SeattleComment
