Horry to be let go by the Lakers

Lakers to release Horry
This isn't really big news, but I was wondering what everyone thought about this.

From what I hear, the Lakers still want Horry, but for much cheaper. They're hoping that after they release him, he signs back on with them for about $4 million cheaper, at around $1.4 million a year. Hopefully this will happen, and if it does, I'll be really happy. We get to keep a great talent, and save money at the same time.

I think after that, the Lakers should go after Gary Payton. After all, he does want a ring, and the Lakers would fit him very nicely. The Lakers already buffed up their front court in the draft, so they just need to strengthen their back court a bit. I guess we'll see in the next couple of weeks what happens.

I do truly believe Horry will be back with the lakeshow. Hes only like 34 and had one forgettbale playoff run. He'd be a great deal for 1.4 mill since he doesnt really help much in the regular season anyways (although he was underrated in his contributions this past regular season).

And even if they do sign the glove theres no way they will win another championship without signing another PF (as of now they have Madsen-free agent, Slava-soft, horry-free agent, and their rookies). I believe that fish can guard people if shaq will get his *** in shape to help guard on that screen and roll that minnesota exploited, and S.A. took to the next level of exploityness.

i think the lakers don't need horry . they must use their salar getting a big PF.

The Lakers drafted to good forwards so they don't need Horry. Plus he's going home to take care of his daughter because she has a sickness.

If you bleed purple and gold then you guys know how bad we want to see him in a gold uniform. I'm not downplaying anything but I think his daughter is autistic? I'm not sure on that but I don't believe she is dying or anything.

D-FISH & HORRY

Should've been traded along time ago...d fisher has BIG problems playing d on upper echelon pg, robert horry gets
abused by dayum near every pf in the league...but as long as ur winning knowone makes waves. The Lake Show should've kept NICK VAN EXEL, and picked up JO, ALONZO or THE MAILMAN.
I think any pg who relies on picks SUCKS ***. Unless ur double/triple teamed the faster player on the floor PG should make it out of time jams without em...ur out the door D-FISH like ya mamas dirty laundry
