    Re: LAFRENTZ

Raef and defense should not be mentioned in the same breath. If he played D, there would be no need for the Mavs to get a big man.

All Oklahoma players will guaranteed play some serious defense. Coach Sampsons #1 requirements. OU can play some D.

Hollis is an amazing guard and whoever gets him is getting an absolute STEAL! The kid has major heart, a will to win and is as competitive as they come. When's he's on, he's a lights out shooter who will stroke it in your face... with an ability to get a shot off amazingly fast. He's as cold as they come, ice water in those veins.

I say this after watching him every year.

P.S. Hollis has played lots of point... especially in his early years at OU. He can play it fine.

haha, i can tell lotta people in this thread dont know much about mavericks.

            1. Zo will play Center if he is signed. he is 6'10 and dirk and bradly r over 7 foot but, dirk plays PF, hes not strong enough for Center, Bradley plays [censored you naughty boy], he sucks and will be benched.

            2. Van exel on the rise? he had 1 good series against Kings. Dats it. He has stated many times, he doesnt want to start, he wants to be benched and come in for nash.

            3. Lafrentz plays NO DEFENSE! HAHA, dats y we want to trade him. he is over payed. we wanted from so he can play some d and grab boards. he doesnt do dat. Zo will be a excellent replacement.

And they are close to signing OU guard Hollis Price as a free agent. I know he's small, but how can a guy with a college career like his go entirely undrafted?

Hollis will not be joining the Mavs...at least not yet.
