I was wondering if anyone here saw the draft and noticed during the Rockets only pick at #44 they gave him a RED draft cap instead of the blue one that is supposed to be the official cap.
The reason I ask is because rumor has it that it was supposedly the Rockets new alternate logo. As I'm sure most of you know the Rockets are moving into a new building next season and are getting a new logo and uniforms. Since most other teams that are getting new logos et cetera have released them, it seems that the Rockets are taking a different path than others. I have already heard that the new colors are deep possibly crimson red and silver and are being made by Reebok. Word is they will just put the logo out and let it circulate around the city and have an official roll out later in the summer.
That brings me to the point, I watched the draft on ESPN but the Rockets picked just after a commercial break and the announcers were talking about the Bulls pick and glossed over Houston's pick and I was wondering if anyone noticed a red Rockets cap at the draft? Thanks
