Hamilton looks to put frustration behind

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4602452

Meanwhile, Rip rarely talked. But in a recent interview with the Memphis Commercial Appeal, he finally told his side:
“M.C. lied to us a million times,” Hamilton said of Curry. “He sat me and A.I. down one time and was like, ‘I’m going to lean on both of you the whole year, just don’t go to the media. Say you’ll do whatever for the team and blah blah blah.’ This was a week before he brought me off the bench. He lied. So I feel for what Allen said.”
He added: “I think the person that we had didn’t know how to take advantage of (our roster). Instead of taking advantage of it, he killed it.”
Hamilton also discredited the idea that the Pistons, although upset about losing Chauncey Billups in the trade with the Nuggets, were unwilling to accept Iverson as a teammate. Asked if he ever had any problems with Iverson, Hamilton said: “Oh, no, no, no. We loved him, he loved us. We were all friends, we were all brothers. Like I said, certain people make it complicated when it shouldn’t be complicated.”

That was some real crooked stuff going down in Detroit last year. I'm still surprised so many people were quick to blame A.I. for all the problems that happened there.

I said when Curry scheduled practice on Thanx that he was setting himself up for failure. That team completely lost faith in the dude. He really came off as a stupid human being in my opinion.

..this is ridiculous ..where are all the guys on these very forums who IMMEDIATELY blamed Iverson for Pistons woes?? YOU KNOW WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT!

This is a positive post about AI so it only gets 2 responses. I get it.

Who has the balls to admit he was wrong and predjudiced??

Lots of people seem to be quick to jump at A.I. when the opportunity arises. Not specifically saying here but everywhere.

I'm a Pistons fan and I blamed Iverson, though I didn't like Curry much. But we could only know it for sure if Iverson kept playing in Detroit. Anyway, I admit I'm happy Iverson and Curry are out. I like the idea of Ben Gordon adding offense, but I'm still not sure if he fits to the team-play style of this team... we'll see. I just hope Cahrlie-V gets himself into the game and start playing like he can, and I know he can.
            My Specs:

            GPU: Monochrome display

It wasn't about placing the blame on anyone rather analyzing AI's skillset and style of play in relation to his team. Also I think people were more making the point that AI thought/thinks he's better/more valuable than he really is.

The point still stands that no contender thought he could help them.

In fact there were very few teams who wanted his services at all.

Everyone knows that DET team was screwed with or without AI. They didn't have the talent nor the coaching.

I'm sorry. But alot of people were calling him a cancer last season. When the trade went down, when the Pistons struggled, & when they finally sent him home for the year.

I admit, I said I didn't see him fitting w/the Pistons players. But the Canswer stuff I didn't subscribe to.

iverson was the scape goat for all detroit piston's fans, and he was easily the most hated on player this past season and off-season..
