I think the NBA is loaded at the PG position. The top guys are all relatively young plus there are guys like

all waiting in the wings.

Well, if you base it on this:

I feel that 4 of the next 5 MVP awards will go to a SF. Not all necessarily to Lebron, btw. And I think the other one won't go to a PG unless a CP3 or Williams takes their team to a #1 seed out West.

In the next 5 years, I predict Bron will get 3 MVP's, Carmelo will have a shot at 1 (maybe this year!) and Dwight Howard will get 1. Wade will be in the conversation, but not unless Miami is AT LEAST a 4 seed.

By this (notably flawed) logic, the not-so-obvious answer is Small Forward. To further back this argument, I feel like guys like Durant and Granger are great players with no off-court issues and are only going to get better.

Your logic is actually very flawed. The question isn't who has the best overall players, it's who is the deepest position. If after LBJ and Melo were Kyle Korver than SF would not be deep at all.

Well, lucky for me there are a lot of guys between LBJ/Melo and Kyle Korver.

I know what you're saying, I just wanted to present a different way to look at it.

The beauty of this is that there is absolutely no shortage of superstars in this league, and no matter what team you're watching, there are guys on that squad that can make your jaw hit the floor. Love this game

Good news! I thought of an even worse way to look at it!!

What if you took 5 teams of the 5 best players from each position and had them all play each other once. Regardless of what each individual feels that the starting lineup would be, I STILL think that the Small Forward squad would run the table.

The position is just too versatile for others to compete.
