    God bless your avatar DTX.

I wonder what team, if any, takes a shot on him? Charlotte and Cleveland have already been talked about.

Does Charlotte still take him after getting Jax today? I don't think so.

As for Cleveland, if Delonte gets in **** for his Terminator style event and we're without him I could maybe see us taking a chance. Not that we really need another under sized 2 guard though.

Wait, so did he have family issues or did the Grizz mean that The Mephis Grizz family, has issues with AI?

I could be wrong but I don't think there ever was family issues. It was just a secretive way of saying "A.I. is leaving the team because he wanted to be a starter".

I really hope he doesn't go out like this. Next to MJ he has always been my favorite player, even with the issues the last couple years. I really hope he swallows his pride pill and signs with a contender.

....But what contendor wants a guy who has done this to two teams already?

You know what everyone is thinking now.

He'll probably be playing overseas. I don't see any team taking a chance on him, unless they feel suicidal.

Exactly man AI has been letting his pride get the best of him. All the people who were on his side during the Detroit mess(including me) must now realize what a selfish guy Iverson is. He's 34 years old and acting like a baby. Now if Memphis dont want him I dont think no other team will at this point. He's burned to many bridges.

Allen I hope your career does not end like this and I hope you are smart enough to get it together now since this is probaly your last shot.

So if AI comes back then you already know the personal issues were BS.

Re: AI/Grizzlies agree to terminate contract

We knew they were when they said it

I specifically remember the Grizz telling him they'd send him home if he caused them any problems.

...and they did. Like I said before, they had nothing to lose in the first place.

This guy on the other hand said all the wrong things, spoke against doing what was right for the team, spoke against developing and mentoring younger guys, then to top it off he says something like "im not selfish, im just me"

The guy doesnt get it, and he better hope someone gives him a chance to prove everyone otherwise because this is strike # 2

Don't think he will because of the pride thing. He probably rather not play at all then not get what he wants.

No doubt man and this is why I think there is little to no hope for him which is a shame. The Grizzlies signed him to sell tickets but it looks no one really told him he would be coming off the bench.

I just hope he takes some time off, thinks and comes back around the trading deadline when everyone is looking for that piece and says I'm willing to do whatever to win. He still wants to be the AI that took Philly to the Finals and won game 1 but those days are done. The guy has a HOF like career and just no way he can go out like this.

Hopefully man, hopefully whoever is in his circle pulls him aside and helps set him straight. Then again he might have people telling him he shouldn't settle for anything less but +35 minute starter.

I wish SA will give AI a chance. I love to see AI whine in front of Duncan's blank expression.

He needs some time off to re-evaluate himself because man I dont think the people around him are telling him that he needs to change.

Otherwise he will be like Isaiah Rider doing interviews asking teams to pick him up again
