I can see you asking this if the man was slumping. He's currently leading the league in scoring....

lol exactly... the only thing im not liking is kobe's box score has only been including scoring, steals, and turnovers everything else blank lol... but then again, he is not asked to rebound or get assist... it's just weird because he is the only player of his kind... who scores 41 points, with 1 assist, and 0 rebounds? seems like in the course of the game you grab a rebound or pick up at least a couple assist with the ball in your hands so much... he took 30 shots that game and made 19 tho, why pass?

You have to take into account the type of offense they run.

A lot of passes. A lot of swing passes before a shot goes up. If Kobe isn't shooting they usually get a high percentage shot and that's why I tab them as the favorites.

Kobe still has somewhat terrible shot selection.

However he for the most part makes the right play most of the time. So when he makes a pass out of a double team or a hedge, the ball is usually swung one or two or three more times to either an open three or a high percentage close range shot.

I was just about to say he gets a lot of "hockey assists" they often make the extra pass of his double.

One more thing to consider is how unselfish, almost to a fault, Kobe's teammates are.

As "selfish" as Kobe is, his teammates are as unselfish. They really know how to look for one another.

              Hit the wall?

Dude is averaging 34 PPG and almosr 3 SPG (leads the league in both categories) and is shooting 48% from the field.

He's the best player in the NBA (by far) and has actually improved from last season.

              What a premature thread.

Same could be said about Jordan....but people tend to over look thids and give him a FREE PASS because he's "MJ."

Iverson hasn't hit a wall. The young man is simply in denial that he is a sixth man and has been a sixth man for the past 5 years. Iverson's talents are still wondrous though even now.

And Ray Allen's game isnt as explosive as it was 5 years ago but he is still one of the best spot shooters in the game, can create for others while running the point, and understands body positioning as well as anyone. Allen is still a very impactful player.

Has Kobe hit a wall? No, he is still the best player in basketball.

by far? No. But he's nowhere close to hitting a wall, he's better this year than he was 3 years ago.

Re: Has Kobe Bryant finally hit the wall?

Hit the wall? Yeah he hit the wall and knocked the wall down. He is still the best in the league. If for some reason you think he is looking old and tired this season, maybe it's because he is carrying the offense load with Pau and Bynum hurt. He may not be as explosive, but he is pretty much unguardable. He can get any shot he wants at anytime he wants.

Lebron is the best player in the nba imo, and to the answer the question.... I hope so

I expect this one to be locked in T-minus 48 hours.
