the nba is coming down to a four team race every year. like it or not east coasters, there are only four teams that can win for the next 4 or 5 years and none of them are east of texas.
san antonio, dallas, sacramento and los angeles are so heads and shoulders above the league it's stupid. minnesota is a great team and would be the best team in the east but wont get out the west first round this year....again.
these teams are all going to be stronger and the east will not.
san antonio won the championship and they are going to improve big time if they land kidd.
dallas will land someone (cuban will spend money) and they are gaining the experience and killer instinct needed to compete.
sacramento was so deep that losing jim jackson only means that the bench players who would start on other teams are now one year older, one year more experienced and now they get their time in the spotlight.
los angeles is looking to fix the areas that killed them last year and now they are ready for another run at a championship.
noone would be surprised if any of the big four won the championship. but it would be an upset of historic proportions if anyone in the east did.
