Why are people putting TMac in the same boat as A.I.?

A.I. has been a selfish, petulant jerk with the Nuggets & Grizzlies. On the other hand, TMac hasn't done anything wrong with the Rockets. The only reason TMac wore out his welcome in Houston is because of his nagging injuries.

Despite all his injuries, the TMac experiment in Houston should still be considered a success. All they gave up to get him was an over-the-hill Steve Francis anyway.

T-Mac isnt a selfish, petulant jerk? Last year he announced on his website he was getting microfracture surgery before informing the team so they wouldnt/couldnt trade him. Simmons has a great rant about it in his book and one of his columns.

I'm confused. He's done a lot more than most guys in the NBA. I mean, he was an all-star after all, and had it not been for the injuries, who knows how well he would have done. Either way, I think that's a very unfair statement to make.

I voted Iverson though because I honestly feel like he could still start somewhere and be a solid player. McGrady probably deserves to get on somewhere as a sixth man or role player, which would be good for him because less minutes would help him stay healthy a bit.

The obvious answer here is Iverson. At least Iverson will go in somewhere, be somewhat productive, and generate some excitement. You don't have to worry about him missing 18239432 games.
