just decided to post a what if thread so here goes nothing
What if The Memphis Grizzlies get the number 1 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft?
its was really a 50/50 shot between Cleavlend and Memphis at that time. If Memphis gets number 1 they draft lebron if they get pick numero dos it goes to the pistons. here is just my take on what would have happened
-Lebron Plays out his rookie contract in Memphis. despite his phenomenal skills he can't help Memphis do much and ultimatley leaves for the 2007 free agent class. Virtually every team frantically tries to shed cap space in order to land the superstar. Lebron gets offered contracts by multiple teams but ends up signing with the Orlando Magic for Rashard Lewis type money because he would get to play with a premier young center by the name of Dwight Howard. in the end Lebron and Dwight build a true dynasty in orlando and lebron probably wins at least 4 titles.
