    Stackhouse to Milwaukee

This is what Stackhouse was holding out for? Really? I figured he was waiting to get signed by a championship contender. I can't believe none of the top teams would want him considering Marbury got signed last year. He could've probably helped Cleveland or maybe San Antonio or something. What does he possibly bring to the table for Milwaukee? Especially now that the NBA wants to ban in-flight gambling by teams.

As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

LOL. Another reason to pay to see the hometown Bucks...
Seriously, the Bucks have the most random roster in the NBA.

I don't think Stack had very many options anyway. He obviously wanted to go somewhere where he was guaranteed a spot and even the Knicks didn't want him.

Former lottery pick Joe Alexander is probably sticking his middle finger at the Bucks management.

Stack just needs a paycheck I am sure.

Stop hating on the Bucks. They have a diverse roster full of role-players. Alexander may still play, too, because they have Dan Gadzuric and Francisco Elson who have been inactive even when healthy, and maybe Jodie Meeks can be sent down or practice more than play because he's the least consistent player on the roster.

More than that, here's your story: Jerry Stackhouse will need to pick a number other than #42 for the first time in his career!

The Bucks do have a really good and fun roster, I just think it'd be a roster better served if they played in another country...like Spain or Lithuania.

If the Bucks had a healthy Micheal Redd all year they would be a 6-8th seed in the playoffs no doubt. His health was going to decide the season.

I like the Bucks a lot. I just would like to see Alexander get some burn because he is what I thought they needed from the SF position. He and The Prince should have been a great offense/defense rotation.

no way they wouldve made the playoffs even with him... their front court (minus Bogut) is waaaaaaaaaaaay to weak & up in the air.

totally agree with the "most random transaction" comment from earlier. he could have been a good pick up for a contender. why didn't anyone want him to pick up anyways?

No way? They are only 2 games out of the playoffs right now. They started the year 8-3 and had another 4-game win streak thereafter. Consistency is their problem, but they still have a 50% chance of making the playoffs.

No way is like, the Nets have no way of winning 40 games.

Also regarding Stackhouse, he wasn't signed by a contender because a.) he is pretty old and has had injury trouble and b.) contenders, at this point, aren't desperate enough to guarantee a roster spot to a wildcard-kinda player. Obviously they don't know what they'll get from him.

bucks make the playoffs, and i havn't one single nba highlight featuring joe alexander. he had like 3 really good games in the big east tournament in like 07 or 08 when wvu went on a nice run. i havn't seen him before, or after that.

I did the same with Hedo Turkoglu on the Raptors in NBA 2K8. It's funny when that works out.

It looks like Stack will make his debut Wednesday against the Raptors, or Friday against the Raptors. I wonder what number he'll pick since, in 14 years, he has never worn anything but #42, which is currently Charlie Bell's number.

my guess is stack will look to buy the number from bell. i dont believe bell wore 42 his entire career. im all but positive he didnt wear 42 at michigan state

He'd have to wait until next year, because Bell isn't allowed to change numbers now.

And Stack will be a very good addition to the roster -- he's still capable of dropping 30 on a good day and his aggressiveness will hopefully be a good example for the younger guys.

And BTW, Joe Alexander sucks, plain and simple. He couldn't even get PT on a relatively thin Bucks squad last season.
