    Re: Heroes,Role models

That is a sad fact, but you can't just write them off like that. And I know it's easy to say and hard to do, which is why everyone should make a real effort to try to the best of their abilities to do what is right for their kids. I know there are parents here on OS, and I hope that they were ready for them. Cause it's a life long job that they have.

I don't have kids, but my brother does, and I see the way they handle her. It concerns me at times, but I think they are trying their best. My parents did a good job on raising us, and I think most people have the ability to. It just take a lot of effort and time, which I don't think some people are doing these days.

Only if Dennis Rodman comes back.

Seriously - I think the guys who get the most exposure are the most aggressive - being aggressive is a good thing on the B-Ball court if kept in check.

On the court of real life it is a very bad thing.

Oh, I know. I was a kid too, and didn't look up to my parents much. But I didn't look up to many people much. I don't think I needed to. Parents are there to guide their kids and teach them the difference between right and wrong. Things like that. They could also be their heros, but it's not their main concern. I think if parents put the basics down, then everything will be fine.
