    Re: Andray Blatche...Blessing in disuise?

the only one in Anthony Randolphs way is anthony randolph.

and blatche was in the playoffs but NOT as a #1 or #2 option (or even a 3rd 4th or 5th for that matter)...that was my point.

he will not be apart of any meaningful wins as a #1 or #2 option.

Im so confused as to what you're trying to say I can't even think of a response right now and this is coming from someone who has followed this dude since he came into the league.

          Re: Andray Blatche...Blessing in disguise?

I'm with J_Posse as far as his argument about Ray Allen goes at least. Ray was the #3 guy on that Celtics team behind Pierce and Garnett.

Someone made a point that Odom never won a championship as a key cog either and I completely disagree. Odom was one of the biggest reasons the Lakers won the ship last year. He was the only guy that could handle Rashard Lewis and he destroyed the Magic with the Lakers' high-low offense that they ran in the Finals. Sure, he wasn't a starter. But I think he was probably the 2nd or 3rd most important guy on that team, obviously behind Kobe, and possibly Pau.

As far as Blatche's situation, I agree again with J_Posse that it's way too early to say that he isn't going to be able to be a key part of a winning team in his career. Like someone else said, he probably won't do it as the #1 option, but he could very well be the #2 as his game develops or be like a Lamar Odom that causes matchup problems as the #3 guy. But really, anything we say here is just speculation. It's like people arguing that LeBron is definitely going to have 6 championships by the time he retires or that he won't win any because he hasn't won any yet. It's all a guessing game at this point.

Hopefully we can get a late second rounder for him this summer.

I mean, he's 23 years old earning $3 million a year, been starting for a month with a team playing about $30 million in salary and he hasn't won 2-3 championships yet?

This dude is no blessing in disguise. He's just straight up nasty and it's pretty obvious at this point.

I say that he was because although he would give you a game like this every now and then, you would have never seen the consistency if Grunfield hadn't blown up the team.

In other words, they had a huge piece all along, but didn't realize it until he got significant and consistent minutes.

I've been calling him Andre when his name is really pronounced Ann-Dray. Also, his last name is pronounced Blotch not Blatch. Learn something new everyday.

Last night was an example of why you can't build around him. You're on a 11 game losing streak and you wanna throw a hissy fit because someone tells you play better defense? SMH.

Yep. I couldn't believe it. What a whiny baby. You can be mad at the coach but go help your team win a game.

Funny thing is, he's playing today and starting.

                          Good job Washington.

Any credability Saunders had is currently getting smaller by the minute.

One year later, multiple fights in the Club, including against his OWN teammate, being locked up/pulled over, sucking it up for most of the season until his team is out of Playoff Contention and then turning into Lebron James for the last 2 weeks every April and he still doesn't get it.
