What? Despite that KG is the smack-talk master, the point is simple; KG has accomplished everything a player can dream of in their career. He has literally every accolade one can ask for, whereas Jennings hasn't proven squat. Show some respect to your elders, my man.

It's not about Jennings proving squat or anything.

It's about someone coming in talking trash all night long and losing. If you talk trash in someone else's backyard, you better win. You know, walk the walk, talk the talk.

A little confidence from Jennings don't hurt.

Exactly. Good for Jennings not letting the Celts walk on him just because they've got seniority.

I'm not a KG ***** by any means, but if you jaw at somebody at their place, there's nothing wrong when they return the favor.

Nah, I'm not a KG ***** either, like his play on the court.

However, I'm sure when KG started trash talking, the furthest thing from his mind was respecting others.

Bobcats win their 4th in a row. Lets keep it going on Friday against the Clippers.

The Mavs won a tough one tonight against the Nets () to extend their win streak to a very nice bakers dozen (that's 13 fellas). Jason Kidd was money tonight, hitting 5 big 3 pointers to help secure the victory. Heywood came back after being out the last few games and racked up a double-double, and Damp also put in 4 minutes to help get him in the swing of things again. I thought this game would be a trap for the Mavs, and the Nets reassured my thoughts early on when they jumped in front by 18 or so points. Thankfully we have this guy named Caron Butler and another one named Shawn Marion who helped pick up the slack for struggling...and I mean STRUGGLING Dirk.

                  I can't wait for a DEN/LA or DEN/DAL or DAL/LA series.

Going to be must watch bball.

I think these will be more compelling than anything out East.

Ya, I'm ready for some playoff basketball! During the Mavs win streak, they haven't faced a whole lot of stiff competition...but you have to play the games on your schedule. It will be interesting to see how they fair against the Celtics in two games. The thought of playing Denver or LA still scares me though.

Well both DEN and DAL scare me too so we're about even. No other West team scares me.

Wow at JR Smith's 360 alley oop dunk. Close to dunk of the year for sure

I think a Clev/Orl matchup would be just as compelling assuming both teams are healthy, Clev/Atlanta could also be fun to watch but wouldn't be as good as Clev/Orl.

In the West I am hoping for 3 matchups in the 1st round ; Den/Port, Lakers/Spurs and Mavs/Suns. I have always loved watching Mavs/Suns over the year. Roy and Melo always seem to be in a duel when they play and Lakers-Spurs just sounds interesting to me. Inevitably that would probably leave a Utah/OKC 1st round which would also be interesting to see.

Scott Hastings said that was the nastiest alley-oop he's ever seen. I dunno about that, but for a game situation and for moving so fast before the catch, it was positively ridiculous:

Dunk of the year so far though. I normally love a posterization more than anything, and there have been some serious ones so far (mainly Wade on Varejao early in the season), but this one was on another level in terms of just a DUNK.

Damn, I wish DC was here. I KNOW he'd have something comedic to say on how this will affect alleys in 2k.

Hahaha, when I saw the play I thought "that's some 2K ish right there"... that's the only time I remember seeing someone make that atletic of a catch and finish with a 360 on an oop.

Is there another in-game 360 oop anyone can think of? I'm drawing a blank...

It's hard to say "ever", but this if there are others, it is extremely rare. During a 2k debate, they spent a lot of energy looking for 360 and windmill alley oops, and they couldn't find any. Even VC's top one hundred didn't have it. At least not in an NBA game.
