    Best of the West!!!

Who do you guys think have the best teams now? Mind you, the Mavs have still to make a move. They might not, but you never know with Cuban. As for the other powerhouses, check out their lineups now, and tell me who you think is the best, at least on paper.

    San Antonio Spurs
    PG - Tony Parker
    SG - Manu Ginobili
    SF - Bruce Bowen
    PF - Tim Duncan
    C - Rasho Nesterovic
    Bench Notables:
    - Hedo Turkolu, Robert Horry, Ron Mercer, Malik Rose, Steve Kerr(FA), Kevin Willis(FA)

    Sacramento Kings
    PG - Mike Bibby
    SG - Doug Christie
    SF - Peja Stojakovic
    PF - Chris Webber
    C - Vlade Divac
    Bench Notables:
    - Keon Clark, Bobby Jackson, Brad Miller, Gerald Wallace, Jim Jackson(FA)

    Minnesota Timberwolves
    PG - Sam Cassell
    SG - Latrell Spreewell
    SF - Wally Szcerbiak
    PF - Kevin Garnett
    C - Michael Olowokandi
    Bench Notables:
    - Troy Hudson, Ervin Johnson, Rod Strickland(FA), Kendall Gill(FA)

    Dallas Mavericks
    PG - Steve Nash
    SG - Michael Finley
    SF - Dirk Nowitzki
    PF - Raef LaFrentz
    C - Shawn Bradley
    Bench Notables:
    - Nick Van Exel, Avery Johnson, Eduardo Najera, Adrian Griffin(FA), Raja Bell(FA)

    Los Angeles Lakers
    PG - Gary Payton
    SG - Kobe Bryant
    SF - Devon George
    PF - Karl Malone
    C - Shaquille O'Neal
    Bench Notables:
    - Derek Fisher, Rick Fox, Kareem Rush, Brian Cook, Luke Walton, Mark Madsen(FA)

Personally, I'm probably a bit biased on this one, but I think the Lakers look better. I think they can take any team out there in a 7 game series. I think that the starting 5 for them are just amazing talents that, if they can learn to play together, could just dominate like no other ever before. Who do you guys think look the best, on paper so far?

one thing is know is Kobe Bryant will be the key to how well the Lakers do this upcoming season. I too doubt any other team would be able to match the lakers, the spurs will be up there with them though.

                      1. Spurs - was looking bad for em this offseason but turned good with the acquisitions of Hedo, Mercer, and Rasho.

                      2. Lakers - GP and Karl, nough said.

                      3. Kings - Still pretty much the same roster but got Brad Miller. Loss of Hedo and Pollard shouldn't matter because they rarely played.

                      4. T'Wolves - KG finally has some help and Wally doesn't have to be the second option and when Wally is your 5th option you know this team is talented.

                      5. Mavericks - Didn't really do anything. Still soft in the middle which will be exposed against SA, LA, Sac, and Minne. If they get Kurt Thomas they could be dangerous though.

it's whatever team nickname that ends with an "S". I hate to admit it, but on paper the lakers do. I like how the T Wolve's look though.
