I'm gonna say the post-trade Mavs have the best starting five. I'd say LA if not the whole "Derek Fisher is our starting point guard" shenanigans.

I agree. There are some errors on the list...so what would your list look like?

Re: Best Starting Five In The West?

Add CP3 and Rudy Gay to Matrix's list and it's pretty much complete

Edit: I would also add non-starter Odom to the SF list over Artest if nobody else. And add Chris Kaman to the Center spot.

Also even though JR Smith isn't a starter, I think he's better than Jason Richardson. Kevin Martin is probably a more valuable player too.

I think he was trying to determine the best starting 5 among the top 4 teams. That's why only players from 4 teams are ranked...My bad I should have only put LA, Denver, Dallas and Utah in the poll to make it less confusing

Ooh ok. Yeah I was wondering what the spirit of the topic was.

All I know is, without Kenyon, Denver in my eyes takes a major hit.

that makes way better sense. I was sooo confused dude. Appreciate the clear-up.

I was going off the Top 8 seeds so far in the poll. Otherwise, CP3, Gay, Kaman would definitely be in the list.

Been hurt too much this year to be considered. Plus that knee injury is gonna hurt his game more than people think, I feel.
