Its possible Philly takes the big man and Nets get Turner but either way the Nets are drowning in their own tears right now... except for Harris
Again, how do you figure we will take Cousins?

And drowning in our own tears? How so? It isn't like getting the top pick was gonna make us an instant title contender this year or even next year anyway. This is what happens when people watch too much BSPN and believe everything they say in which they say "Oh the Nets will get the number 1 pick and then get Lebron and then win the Championship next year".

I think NJ ends up with either Cousins or Favors. Either one will help them out more than Wall IMO.

It was, but I feel bad for him. The Pacers have no money to spend in free agency so our only hope was to get some lottery luck. Didn't happen. Oh well. This team is stuck in neutral man. Hopefully whoever we pick turns into a star(not counting on it).

Philly's in a bad spot IMO.

Damn@ Golden State though. They can't catch a break. From projected #4 to what #9/10?

          Damn.

Wizards are going to be very intriguing. I can see them overpaying a tier 2 Free Agent this summer and right into the playoffs they will be.
Well i'd take Turner and deal Iggy, it is a tough spot. That is for sure.

How much they can get for Iggy, because it is hard to imagine them on the same team. Otherwise, Cousins or Favors does not look like a bad pick from there. Not like they have any real quality big men.

At least with the Wiz and Nets they do, they have Blatche and Lopez respectively and Philly as far as the 4 and 5 spots man the only guy i like from that bunch is Speights.

If Cousins CONTINUES to mature, because he did a GREAT deal throughout the year, then he will be a perennial All Star. He is a beast and uber talented.

If he doesn't continue to mature, then I still don't think he will be a bust, but he will have a bad rap and teams will have to decide to either put up with the attitude for his talent, or pass.

I hope he continues to mature. Kid has great character off the court and like I said, is extremely talented.

FWIW, we have 3 picks in the first 34 picks(2 in the 1st Round).

The Sixers should trade the pick and move down to either take James Anderson or Xavier Henry. I think those guys complement the Sixers personnel more because Sixers have slashers who don't have the greatest jumpshots. If the Sixers could trade the 2nd pick and get rid of Elton Brand contract, I would do it in a second.

Where did these maturity issues come from? Didn't really follow him at UK and just heard about it the closer we got to the DL so was this something of him throwing temper tantrums or something?

Although, to add on to my previous post, it's our own damn fault. We were pegged to have a top 5 pick in early March, then decided to go on a late season run and dropped ourselves like 4 or 5 picks. Worthless run too as we were already eliminated from the Playoffs. Great job!!

Well you can't just tank for picks lol! You try to win every time you step on the court.

                          Quote from NJ:

Rod Thorn- "I view Favors as a 4 and Cousins as a 5/4. I can't tell you right now who we're going to pick. We have a lot of work to do."

i'm sorry where did i ever say win the championship next year?

I said i think they'll take Cousins. Thats my prediction, did i say its a fact? No. I see them taking either Cousins or Favors.

If they would have gotten Wall i think that would have been more appealing for Lebron because he likes Wall. It has nothing to do with ESPN because if i just followed what ESPN said i'd be saying Lebron is going to Chicago when this whole time ive been saying NYK 1st, NJ 2nd.

And don't tell me Nets fans aren't pissed as hell. I actually live in NJ unlike you who are from the Maryland/DC area. I've been listening to the radio shows since the season began and Nets fans have been looking forward to the #1 pick and John Wall since they knew the season was over. Everyone assumed it was a foregone conclussion the Nets would have the #1 pick, get Wall then hopefully get Lebron. Thats what Nets fans have been hoping for but that dream was just crushed.

I have a better insight as to what Nets & Knicks fans are thinking about since i listen to them every day on the radio and since i'm in the ticket business and have gone to my fair share of Nets games this season since i didnt have to pay for tickets as well as Knicks games.
