    Sigh...

This thread is going nowhere with a bunch of "I know more than you know so be quiet" so let's just end at that. The point is you don't any more than me just because you live there when I can find out the same info YOU can with a simple click.

Anyway, how in the world is Cole Aldrich being mentioned as a possible top 5-6 pick??

It's obvious some of you can't participate in a debate without it resorting to stuff like this.

There are some rumblings that the Nets may try and trade Devin Harris and their pick for #1 to get Wall.

I just went back through the pages and nowhere did PPM say Nets fans won't be too disappointed. In fact, he didn't even mention Nets fans; you did.

He doesn't have a lot of upside but he's a pretty polished player right now. He's the best Center in the draft (I don't consider Cousins or Monroe centers), he has a back to the basket game, controls the game defensively, and can step out and knock down a jumper.

Damn, that's a lot. BUT, if it means having a chance to land LeBron I'd say go for it. Then again, I'd want a letter stamped with a public notary stating LeBron would come to NJ. Having a chance is not good enough.

I'd like to see Prokohov go after him aggressively and try to shake things up.

Don't like the deal if that rumor is true, especially if it's simply just for one player.

It may be much for any one player, I don't know. But understand, Wall is transcendental. He will change the game. He will be the next superstar barring injury. I mean James/Wade/Bryant/Jordan superstar. This is all my opinion, but I seriously have no doubt.

Again, I don't know if trading that much for a player like that is worth it. If Lebron came there with him, then absolutely. But would you do it for Lebron coming out of high school?

I think your right in the fact that he's the most polished of the big men right now but that's as much as you're gonna get with him. I don't think he has nearly the defensive impact at the NBA level. I think he'll be a solid role player but Kansas big men over the years haven't had the best NBA track record.

It'd be similar to what the Knicks have done...putting all our eggs in one basket. We've sacrificed our lotto pick last year, our lotto pick this year, and 2 more first rounders to even get to this position.

I agree. Bes case scenario he's Andrew Bogut, but I don't see him being anything more than a role player either.

it'd be a great deal. Harris has been injury prone and if it made Lebron more likely to go to NJ then its a no brainer. You also get rid of Harris' contract which is $8.9 mil this year, $9.3 mil next year, $8.5 mil the year after that so it gives you more cap space this summer. Devin Harris is no spring chicken anymore and they can market Wall as their future (unless Lebron comes as well then he's obviously the center of marketing).

                              Of course he's happy.

Wall, Gilbert, Durant, and Blatche is a championship team in 2012/2013.

All we have to do is waste time until we get Durant.

With Leonsis we will be unstoppable. A month on the job and he already got the #1 pick.
