Hope he doesn't... he looked good at times this year. But yeah, I'd rather him retire than end up like AI last season, floating around team-less and ending up in a bad situation and tarnishing his legacy even further. He'd be a great pickup at the $5 mil level for someone's bench.. he can still lead a team, and he'd be perfect as a 6th man point-forward type (assuming he's a bit healthier after the off-season).

Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

TMAC was a very good player in his prime, but doesn't a player who never made it out of the first round of the playoffs already have a tarnished legacy?

                        Tracy's blog: Offseason begins

                        Hey everyone,

Our season ended yesterday and now its time for a small break to rest up before I get back to rehab and training. I’m going to work hard all summer long getting ready for next season. I saw a report this morning that I was going to retire, and let me set record straight, I am not retiring. I’ve got more game in me, and you’ll see it on the court next year. Thanks to all my fans for all your support. No matter where I end up next season, I’ll be ready!

                        Mac

Can't wait to see him become that 2nd wheel everyone has been waiting for.

                            Please, retire, PLEASE.

His skillset doesn't work with his game anymore (worst ballstopper in the NBA). It worked fine when he was scoring 25 PPG but now that he's not doing that, he's USELESS.

                              I disagree 100% Ryan

He is the perfect complimentary player. His IQ is underrated and he still showed the ability to score the ball as well as create for his teammates in a decent capacity.

Team him with another superstar and a nice 2nd banana, and you'd have a scary team.

i would love for him to come to the Lakers for the mid-level exception. give us more fire-power off the bench.
