I guess they could have started the Bos/Cle on Sunday night then game 2 would have been tonight but I bet TV had a say on that option.

Money have power on all our sports... I can't blame the NBA or other leagues if there broadcast partners say we pay this much to do it this way. Atleast the playoff games and finals are not on tape delay...

Once the second round starts it should be every other day because two games playing a night shouldn't prevent anyone from watching one game ( like Mavs/ Spurs game 5 being on with the Cavs Bulls game 5 going on and then Lakers Thunder game 5). In the 1st round I get why the games are schedule a certain way because it allows us to see as much of each team as possible. But once the second round starts the Monday/Friday thing makes no sense outside of possible TV ratings.

At least its not tape delayed? LOL and that makes sense how?

How about putting one game on and another on NBA TV at the same time?

Come on man its idiotic and the NBA has forgotten its the fans that make it all worthwhile.

I believe LA would've had issues had they not gotten 2 days of rest in between game 4 and 5.

I can blame the NBA just fine when I sat there and watched another network do it successfully for years. What happened to the triple header Sat and Sun?

You have to be thankful of what you got, because in 20 years or so everything NBA playoffs/finals games probably be on payperview

I like the way it's currently setup. It allows me to watch the most amount of basketball possible and reduces the overlapping of games.

Ummm because no one wants to have to switch back and forth between games if you don't have to. Everyone doesn't have a dog in the fight at this point and some people are just basketball fanatics like myself who like watching all the games. I like watching the Magic and Hawks and I like watching the Cavs. I shouldn't have to struggle trying to watch both games just cause somebody else in the country who's not as big a basketball nut as me is upset that the playoffs aren't over in two weeks. The more basketball spread through the week the better as far as I'm concerned.

I hate when there's games going on at the same time. They've done that quite a few times already. Most notably Game 6 of LA/OKC an DEN/UTAH were played at the same time on ESPN and ESPN 2. Both were close games and I missed a good portion of both games having to constantly switch back and forth. I definitely wouldn't want that to happen on a regular basis.

The way it is now is fine. We're getting at least 1 game, usually 2, and sometimes even 3, each night.

No it means the scheduling is screwed up

Not really. You have to account for time zones, television revenues and fans. You cant run three games on a weekday without having games overlap or running games during the day when people work and ratings plummet. Shortening the NBA playoff schedule means more games overlapping which means more games on NBATV which means less advertising revenue.

Im not advocating shortening the playoffs, but a 4-5 day rest in between is completely ridiculous man.
