I have no problem with him leaving through free agency. Never bitched publicly about trading him or stuff like that. It's sad he left, but I guess he just didn't want to wait around any longer or wait until he's old to get that ring.
I just hate the way he left and for my own selfish reason, it took away part of what I loved about the NBA. The very best competing against each other to see who is better and only cared about winning if it meant they beat the Jordan, Bird, Magic, Duncan, Kobe, Lebron, Wade's of the world. But instead to me this feels more of a Lebron and Wade joining to beat the lesser players instead of trying to beat each other.

Thing is, Dan Gilbert is on point. LeBron DID QUIT on the Cavs in the playoffs last year.

I love Gilbert's fire. He is angry, and he isn't afraid to show it. He is fan just like us. That's who Gilbert is.

It will be interesting to see what other info comes out on this whole situation.

Exactly, and that's the point that people want to sweep under the rug. It's not too farfetched to say these guys planned this thing out in advance, so what incentive would LeBron have to win in Cle if he was just going to leave during the summer? Total tank job.

In all honesty, it seems like this might have hurt Lebron's legacy in the long run as opposed to helping it. I wonder if he will make it to the Billion mark sooner rather than later.

Last I checked, 3 players won't win you a championship. Miami is going to have scraps for the rest of its roster, and if any of those 3 go down with an injury, forget about it.

These moves by the Heat made them the 3rd best team in the conference. I still think Orlando and Boston are better overall TEAMS than Miami and should be regarded as the favorites.

Barring injuries, I'd put my money on the Lakers winning it all again. This just added more fuel to Phil and Kobe's fire. Kobe will be well-rested after this summer and will want to prove he's still the true alpha dog of the NBA.

Bosh is way too soft and will be exposed in the playoffs. When crunch time comes, who takes the shot? LeBron or Wade?

In an aside, props to Kevin Durant for sticking with OKC. I'm hoping Melo does the same. I want to see one of these 2 guys take down James (won't call him King) and the Heat.

It's a shame that guys in the NBA are more concerned with friendships than winning titles, but that's the culture we live in today. Guys like Kobe are a rare breed.

Hm, maybe he should've joined NY.

So it could have been, Wade&Bosh vs James&Stoudamire.

The Knicks could have been Lebron's team, and he could have started a dynasty with STAT. I thought he loved NY too.. ah well.
