The whole summer was just a big show by LBJ, Wade, and Bosh. They agreed on playing together a long time ago. This really is sad that it all resorted to 3 friends screwing with us. Whatever. Oh and I expect Spoelstra to "resign" within the next month. All his family responsibilities will probably get to him.

Not comparing them talent-wise. No doubt Wade/Bosh/James are better, talent-wise, than Allen/Pierce/KG.

The big difference, though, is that Boston was able to sacrifice their egos for the betterment of the team. LeBron, and Bosh, have never done a single thing to prove that they can put aside their egos. We'll see if that changes, but at the moment they're nothing more than three all-stars on the same team. They're not unbeatable until they prove to be an unstoppable team.

I really believe Rondo and Doc, helped that. Also, was Allen and KG a role player before on their old teams? I don't think they were. So we can't the new big 3 do the same thing. It will be a wild ride.

What that tells me is, there is only one guy here that has experience in winning a championship, and thats Wade.... the other two are unproven players.

There is no gurantee here and people making a fuss like its some kind of outrage becasue he didnt stay in CLE couldn't be more dishonest. Most of them anyway, not all.

That's not really a fair accusation. Many people as fans of varying teams have said that it's a foul move to shred Cleveland on TV like this. The way he did it allowed for cameras to be on the fans while they heard that their homegrown son is leaving them. That may never happen again in sports history. Only by having this spectacle could we literally watch large groups of Cleveland fans let out a wail of despair as they watch their team go from first place to possibly being out of the playoffs.

I don't know what the deal is with the pacifier because there's no crying here. I'm not even a fan of dude and didn't really care where he went if it wasn't the Pistons lol. I'm just speaking to the idea that here's a guy who people had a pegged as someday being the best ever. It's not going to happen now is all I was saying. I didn't even go into is motives or what not.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's "something special" for kids to sit in a room with one of the best and most famous athletes in the world.

As for the "good news" that's all perspective.

I think I take it a little personal because I used to work at a Boys and Girls Club and some of those kids have HARD lives. Harder than most here can imagine. And if they thought he would be playing up here and they'd have a chance to see him play and then hear him say this is really F'ed up.

Agreed. Sad thing is, I'm gaining more respect for Kobe out of all of this.

I hope this move motivates guys like Kobe, Melo, Durant, the Celtics to rip Miami apart. The Heat are done if they have an injury.

You know what, you took the words out of my mouth, I have zero respect for LeBron now. When you have the kind of talent that LeBron has, you win with your own team, not go to someone elses. Cleveland did everything LeBron asked them to do by acquiring guys like Mo Williams, Antwan Jamison, KEEPING big Z (at LeBrons request), J.J. Hickson (lots of people are very high on him), Resigning Sideshow Bob (again, at LeBrons request) and then LeBron turns his back on the franchise? That's wack man. At least Kobe stayed true to his word when the Lakers started making the kind of moves that he requested of them.

At least LeBron has a real star that can take over for him for when he decides to shut it down in the playoffs like he did the last few games this year.
