    Heat fill out more roster space

    Miami signed John Wallace and Loren Woods today.

          I assume both guys were signed to minimum one-year contracts, eh? In which case, half of Wallace's salary would be picked up by the league office anyway.

          That said, both of these guys' contracts (even if they are slightly above minimum...I'm honestly not sure what size they are), that won't affect enough of their cap space to keep them from signing Odom to an offer-sheet. Besides, they probably want to be patient with that to ensure that the Clips won't match (despite the comments that Odom has made about the Clippers organization, they could still easily match...).

          I agree about these guys being scrubs though. Wallace plays ZERO defense, but he's not a bad scorer. Riley might be able to work with him and help him in that area. Woods is a crybaby with issues, and pretty much the only discernable contribution he can make is blocked shots.

          Oh well though...they've still got roster spots to fill, so it was inevitable that they'd get guys like this to go with Samaki Walker.
