No way Karl Malone or Tim Duncan were better than Hakeem imo.

Russell was the ultimate winner. Chamberlain could have (and should have) won so much more than he did.Last edited by wildcatchild; 06-17-2010, 07:01 PM."He who controlleths the backboard, controlleths the game." - Adolph RuppComment

Lol I said top 5 players, not your top 5 rosters. Keep it short and sweet.Comment

Re: Who do you think ranks as the Top 5 of All-Time?
Maybe off-topic a little but do you guys think Kobe is Top 5 after winning the championship now? Would you put him over Bill Russell? I had an interesting conversation with a friend today at work and he thinks Russell had 'no competition'. I can't remember who Russell played with but Kobe Bryant certainly had a fair share of superstars on his team, no? Just looking for opinions here.Comment

Re: Who do you think ranks as the Top 5 of All-Time?
"Top 5 all time" is pretty silly considering most people here are in their mid twenties and have never even seen most of the players they're listing play a game and have only seen highlights. Matrix had the right idea on the first page going by top 5 that he's seen play.Comment

Re: Who do you think ranks as the Top 5 of All-Time?
Im 35..the best Ive seen in my lifetime are
Jordan- needs no explanation
Hakeem- The most complete big man, Ive ever seen..he was perfect.
Magic- Winner, leader, changed the PG position
Bird- competitive as all hell, great scorer..had a PG's feel for the game..big game player..tough dude.
Duncan- underappreciated greatness..Id take him in his prime over Shaq,in a eye blink.Last edited by sportyguyfl31; 06-19-2010, 07:57 AM.Comment
