Minnesota, will they finally win a series?

I don't know his name but Minnesota's GM has got my vote. What an off-season the wolves are having. They picked up numerous talented players and aren't paying an arm and a leg. Their bench will simply be tough to beat, but i wonder if that is good enough to place them in the top 4 in the west come the playoffs? If they aren't in the top four this year i predict another first round exit, its all in the season for the wolves.

    His name is Kevin McHale.

Didn't they have the 4 spot this last year in the playoffs? I think they did. They lost to the Lakers who were 5.

As for this coming year, they have definitely improved, and I don't think chemistry will be an issue. I think it just depends on who they match up with. If they can get to the 3rd seed in the playoffs, they'll make it out. Otherwise, it's gonna be tough to go against the Lakers, Spurs, Kings, and Mavs. Those teams are all stacked. So if you don't get 3 or above, then you'll be facing one of those guys, and they will be tough to beat.

I think they have the best chance against the Kings and Mavs. Kings, cause they're always hurt. Someone will be when the playoffs start. As for the Mavs, they still haven't done anything, so they won't be that much better this year. Not that that is bad, cause they're a really good team. It's just that I though the TWolves matched up pretty good with them last year, and this year should be even better for the Wolves. We'll see tho. Only time will tell. Damn this offseason is taking too long.

I love Sacto and Dallas!! If da kings are healthy I think they can win it all but they have to play together and have a good defensive season. The Spus are still No. 1 and the Lakers gotta be 3 after the Kings at 2. The T-Wolves have got to be 4 now and Dallas down to 5. Blazers always find a way to play descently enough for 6 and Rockets and Suns should sum it up at 7 and 8 respectively. I thinkn the T-wolves can take Dallas but Spurs in the second round no way!!. KG aint winnin a championship anytimee soon. Sorry dude , OnE

Re: Minnesota, will they finally win a series?

Don't get me wrong, I love the way Sac and Dallas both play. They have great team games that run up and down the floor as well as any team ever. It's just that they are both kinda soft. Dallas in the defensive way. And Sac in the down to the wire way.

The TWolves have gotten a lot tougher, and with a ton of more options to score. Their lineup looks great and their bench looks good as well. They match up with any team out there.

I think you're right about the teams that will make the playoffs this year. It will definitely be (in no particular order) the Lakers, Spurs, Kings, TWolves, and Mavs in the top 5. With Portland, Houston, and Phoenix rounding out the rest. Like I said, if the TWolves can get any of the bottom 3 for 1st round opponenets, then they will break their curse. If not, then good luck to them.

For the East, I think the teams that will make the playoffs are (again, in no particular order) the Nets, Pistons, Celtics, Magic, Hornets, 76ers, Pacers, and (damn this is a tough one) hmmmm any team.
