I'm not too worried about the stats. I really would like to see their line-up on opening day. I mean will Wade or LeBron be playing a lot of Point-Guard/Forward. Is Bosh going to play any center?

But I'm not worried about the offense. Their defense is going to be pretty good.

Why is Wade taking the hit in assists? LeBron only got so many assists last year because he held onto the ball too darn long trying to make something happen. He also drew a disproportionate amount of attention, leaving Anthony Parker to make open shots. Wade will probably handle the ball more on the perimeter and get more assists than James.

      Just to participate:

      James: 23.3 pts / 5.7 ast / 7.1 reb
      Wade: 17.8 pts / 7.5 ast / 3.0 reb
      Bosh: 15.6 pts / 1.9 ast / 8.9 reb

LeBron was also the first forward to ever average over 8 assists; that means something. Part of Pat Riley's recruiting pitch to get LeBron to the Heat was saying D-Wade would be the Kobe, Bosh would be the KG, and LeBron would be the Magic. He is a willing passer and doesn't want to have to score 30 a game for his team to win.

          I think it will be:

          PPG/APG/RPG

          James: 24/6/7
          Wade: 22/7/5
          Bosh: 16/2/8
          Chicago Bulls
          Chicago Blackhawks
          Chicago Bears
          Chicago White Sox

I mean lets say the the starting line is Wade-Miller-James-Bosh-Anthony. This is going to be a very weird team. Miller might lead the team in assist...lol

              Wade - 26-5-6
              James - 24-7-9
              Bosh - 18-10-1.5

James is gonna put up Nash like assist numbers next year. If it's true that he would handle the team like magic, why wouldn't he run point?!

I would leave Wade at SG, James at SF, and Bosh at PF as much as possible; keep your best guys at their best positions and build around them. Part of the Cavaliers' detriment was that LeBron held the ball for too long when bringing it up the court. If I were Miami, I would want James to get 0 assists per game if it meant working off the ball more. It's more likely that Wade would be PG and Mike Miller would be SG.

Except the fact that James is most comfortable with the ball in his hands. Wade is actually better at working off the ball than James. I would say let the two share the load of bringing the ball up front, with James focusing more on facilitating and Wade more on scoring.

I'm sure he feels more comfortable with the ball in his hands, but I think it's not very disciplined. Considering that the Heat will not need their PG to score, they could have the PG bring the ball up the court (and everyone is being guarded man-to-man), and James and Wade can try to get one-on-ones by making plays off the ball.

Like James can drive from the wing to the basket, as can Wade. But I would not want James to handle the ball like he did in Cleveland because he would hold it too long and force shots for himself or his teammates.

Anyway, that's why I think Wade will get more assists.

While either Chalmer or Arroyo would start, a shooter i.e. House or Miller should play the remaing guard/forward position the majority of the minutes both James and Wade share the court. With Bosh, I also think there will be a lot of high screen which would work really well when the ball is brought up by James/ Wade.

James was one of the reasons to the stagnant offence in Cleveland, but with better teammates in Wade and Bosh, I think he would be more willing to pass the ball early in the shot clock. I also consider Wade a more natural scorer than James is, which would made James play more of a Magic/Pip role than a MJ role.
