Its going to take Lakers, Mavs, and Wolves time to gel as a team!! Kings and Spurs didn't do too much of an overhauling
Is Webber going to be ready when the season starts??

I think teh mavs improved but soem of u underestimate Nick. If he was starting he would be averaging 20 points juts like Jamison. Remember game 7 against the Weed-blazers when Nick took over in the 4th quarter when Nash, Finley, and Nowitzki were shooting awful. Nick also played well in game 7 against the Kings and theyre losing him. I dont think the mavs amde taht big of an improvement some people think they did.

I think the Kings and the Spurs did a good amount of moves also. The TWolves made the biggest moves to their team, especially their starting lineup.

The Kings lost Hedo and Pollard, and are probably not bringing back Jim Jackson. Those guys might not have been huge to the team's game, but I'm sure they were instrumental in the locker room and with the team chemistry.

As for the Spurs, they lost DRob, which is HUGE. He was the face of their franchise for such a long time. Granted, TD made the transition easier, cause he is their face now, but I'm sure he was a big part of their chemistry. I don't think TD is that vocal yet.

Jamison is quite a bit younger than Van Exel in basketball years. Also, while Van Exel was the passion of the Mavs and he carried them through much of the playoffs, he did hurt them on D when they had to play small ball. Often, Nash and Van Exel had to be on the court at the same time which hurt the defensive game. Jamison is 6'9 and can play both forward positions. Hes not a defensive star by any means, but he definetely upgrades the Mavs defense while giving them yet ANOTHER go to guy. Anyone who scored 50 points two nights in a row is a player. I dont care what team he played on.

The trade helped both teams, but i believe it helped the Mavs more. They have been looking for a small forward forever, and now they have a good one. Finley can now play mostly shooting guard. Van Exel is way too good to be a backup and he isnt getting any younger.
