Did you watch the games last year? The Int'l teams could've been in wheelchairs and played better than Baron Davis.

You people arent the brightest

The Olympics is not a popularity contest. The team cant field 12 superstars...because with todays athlete...egos are high. You think a superstar is going to be content with playing 5-10 minutes a game? The team needs role players....guys that will go into the game and fill their purpose. The team already has enough superstars...why field more? You already have enough talent to avoid what happened last year.

Also keep in mind that the team doesnt DRAFT players. Who is to say that those guys mentioned WANTED to play this summer?

Shaq's response: "The only weight(wait) problem I had last year was waiting for the basketball!" Nice poke at Kobe who's already having many others take cheap shots at him
