1996 - 1998 scottie pippen with less defensive effort unless absolutely necessary. i'll be the glue guy, and if i'm your 2nd or 3rd best player, we likely can beat anyone we play. if you need shooting, i'll shoot, if you need screens or spacing, i'll do that, if you need a ball-handler, i'll do that.
just don't ask me to guard really, really big men and really fast guards. aside from that, you're getting a homeless man's scottie pippen.
edit: i searched and found the thread from summer that asked what parts of our game we stole from nba guys, so here's my self-scouting report that was co-signed by my old assistant coach.
height - 6'3"
weight - 170
position - point forward
game style - hybrid of right-handed lamar odom, working-class man's scottie pippen, middle-class man's jason kidd. taught to be a big man (rebound, post game) for much of my life especially early, developed a handle and driving ability in middle school, got a more post moves, hops and a halfway decent jump shot in high school, extended my range to fairly consistent three point range in college, solidified the three point range after college.
post-game - fadeaway stolen from jordan/kobe
variations of dream shakes, up and unders and bank shots stole from olajuwon
passing - jason kidd in that i fit them into tight spaces an am always looking to pass, even mid-shot
rebounding - odom (not much boxing out, just using height, length and knowledge of where the ball should go); lots of tip-ins
dribble - not sure who i got it from, but the in and out on the facebreak is always there
stole grant hill's crossover
used to use t-mac's fake crossover into a jumper
stole kobe's use of a screen into a floating jumper
