Yeah but Cowherd pretty much said Durant would be too weak/skinny for the NBA after he couldn't bench at the combine.

Yeah, that was hysterical. He also refuses to acknowledge that Durant is a great player now, continuously calling him way overrated. He even brought up the Lakers series last year as reasoning why he couldn't win in the playoffs, which is an insult to the Lakers really, of course he lost to the defending champions who have the best player in the league, a top 10 PF, and a top 3 perimeter defender in the league.

Cowherd makes me miss Stephen A. Smith, he's that annoying

He says **** like this to get a reaction, for the 'shock factor'. Just like Skip Bayless. Although I don't think Skip is as insane as Cowherd is and that's saying a lot. At least when Skip says off the wall statements, he usually has some sort of at least decent reasoning. Cowherd just says it just to say it. I think he likes hearing himself talk and hearing the reaction he gets from people.

I just wanna say watching the pictures in that video was pretty funny lol.

And actually on topic, I mean, obviously in retro-spect Durant is the #1 pick, but Cowherd's reasoning is actually pretty good in this video. Oden did appear to be a freak prospect and Durant certainly didn't help himself with those numbers. And yeah, benching isn't the most important thing in the NBA, but if Cowherd and Danica Patrick can bench it and Durant can't, you gotta admit that IS pretty sad.

Same here. I know exactly what guys like Cowherd, Rome and Blayless are trying to do. And when they go off on some off the wall rant, I love it. The more ludicrous the better.

I could post what I really want to say but because of the TOS, I'll avoid that "side" of the coin and just say this:

This is what Cowherd is good at and this is why he still has a job. He says stuff that even HE knows is ridiculous and makes no sense(doing a dance means you're dumb or won't succeed now)and anybody that actually believes/agrees with what he said(not the TOs part because that's not what I'm referring to)then.....LOL is all I'll say.

thank you. cowturd knows what type of comments fuel a certain type of controversy, also fuels ratings. the turnovers are what they are. he is young and most young pg's suffer from them. winning a title (or not) has far more to do with the team he is on, not him personally...

I'm sorry but if you look up the many interviews of Wall at UK, the only thing you will find wrong about the way he talks is that he talks too fast. He doesn't talk uneducated by any stretch of the imagination. He just talks as fast as he plays.

Oh I know he is. He's my team's PG lol. I'm just saying he shoots like 38% from the field but he had that one huge game. Tonight was a VERY good game from John Wall. Let's see if he can continue to keep those turnovers down.
