    2010/11 PG Discussion

    Who is #1?
    Who is falling off?
Who is having the best sophomore season?
Who is this year's break out young All Star?
    Comeback player?

Obviously this discussion will evolve as the year goes on but there are already some interesting candidates for the above.

Just to spice it up: what under 29 year old star PG will win a chip first ?

OK if Daniel Gibson makes an All-Star team I'd stop watching the NBA, and I'm trying to fathom how Steph Curry is falling off.

There are single digit teams with what I would consider 'not good PG's'

We're in the golden age of PG's, but I don't think we're gonna see any of them break the mold so to speak and be the focal point of a championship team.

Steph Curry and Westbrook are both disgusting.

Just to add some negativity to the thread:

Baron Davis is trash and is to blame for the Clippers being trash
Billups is nothing more than a jump shooter, and borderline chucker

Yeah, lol I forgot to add someone that was falling off. I meant Boobie as comeback player, not all-star lol.

So, who's going to be the first one to say Nash is falling off?

I don't see how anyone could make even a slight case that Nash is falling off

Now next year, I would wager he starts that decline.

Same, except I'd put Russell Westbrook in that 4 spot with Wall, and I dislike Rondo but he does have the best shot to win another title at this point.

Was going to say Westbrook but he's in my top 8 PG's so I wouldn't call it breakout and I doubt he makes AS over Paul,Williams,or Nash.He has some work cut out for him for his career.

Billups is looking like he's fallen off right now. This dude almost averaged 20ppg last year.

Curry, Westbrook, Evans, Rondo and Rose....Wow at these young PGs. Can't ask for more from them, given their respective talent levels and team concepts. So far, they are all developing to be the ultimate version of themselves. Just astonishing.

Also, CP3 looks back to his old self. I'd vote him as #1. His defense, playmaking, scoring, leadership, mental toughness...just unmatched. Deron is an equal offensive PG, but I give Chris the nod on defense and intangibles.

Yeah but when you started saying it you were wrong and saying that way too early. Back then he still had something in the tank, still took guys down in the post and still went to the basket. Now all he does is launch ill-advised threes.

Who is #1? Chris Paul - when he's healthy and on his game, it's not even close really
Who is falling off? Chauncey -- had an amazing season last year but it seems like he's losing his legs entirely or something... jumper looks way off so far
Who is having the best sophomore season? Steph Curry -- those %s are getting Nashy already
Who is this year's break out young All Star? Westbrook, he's a monster. I dunno if he'll make it in the West, but he damn well should. Realistically, John Wall since the East has weaker PGs by about a mile (him and Rondo are about it).
Comeback player? I was gonna say Tony Parker but then looked at his stats looking identical to basically every year of his career (08-09 aside)... So I gotta go with Mike Conley, who seems to be better overall and won't have to worry about anyone breathing down his neck. Hard to be a "comeback" as such a young guy, but some people were leaving him for dead.
