Suns do have crappy D, and they can't rebound. One game doesn't prove anything. Hell 10 games in a row wouldn't prove anything. They have crappy defense and in the playoffs they would be even more exposed [i.e. Turk/Frye/Jason Richardson/Nash]

The first one is the hardest.

Good game Mavs. Didnt like the way that game was officiated on there court ,but we just went cold at the wrong time.

First of all, you guys aren't ****ty. I don't know why you keep playing this victim role thing, there's no reason for it. You guys are a playoff team but not much else than that.

I'm just sayin Trix, individually, your best defenders are Hill, Dudley and Robin.

Outside of that you guys can't match up one on one at all, especially inside.

That swarming defense/rotation can look pretty nice at times but overall I would put you guys in the bottom 5 defensively, along with NY, Toronto, Washington and Sacramento.

Stats wise you guys are at the bottom in opposition FG% AND opposition points.

lol more like dissing their enthusiasm.

Oh well tho 1 loss it was gonna happen eventually nothing wrong with losing by 3 on the road to a good dallas team. Our offense went cold in the finaly 5-6 minutes and they started to heat up. The final play could have been run better, such as Ariza calling a TO or replacing Okafor with D West and the rest on the floor being shooters but it was the first time we've been in that situation this year. Peja was on fire tonight

PHX deserves credit to a certain extent, but there is a bottom line at some point.

Anyway, it was apparent coming into the season, the only way they were going to make the playoffs and advance, was if everyone went crazy from the perimeter. They were also going to need Robin to rebound like crazy and defend consistently and be their anchor. Oh and have Nash play like an MVP.

Other than that, the roster is not designed to play effective defense or get points inside. Everything needs to be created and initiated by Nash and ball movement around the perimeter.

LA got better, PHX got worse.

So yeah, you better get a rebounder, on top of a lot of other things you would need. A stout wing defender, and another inside presence offensively.

Ariza shoulda called time out. Man, he had two great looks to give us the lead, but couldn't quite knock them down.

Oh well. Next game will be the rematch on our home court. I hope we mudhole stomp them.


Also, no offense Mavs fans, but your crowd is pathetic. They only got loud at the very end of the game, and even then, 14k at The Hive would still be louder.

And you're basing this off of one game? LOL
