But TMac w/ those 3 would be very interesting.
      This made me chuckle.

Detroit is 6-4 when he starts, including blowouts of Boston and Dallas. But 9-23 when he doesn't. Lol.

I love T-mac and was kind of disappointed when I found out he was'nt playing for the Knicks anymore, but I guess he didn't fit in with Mike D'Antoni's system... Hope he proves all the nay sayers wrong.

He's been great as a point guard. He seems to end up getting about 13-14 points every game with 6 or 7 assists. He's had a couple near triple doubles. He's been dunking though, the Pistons run a lot of alley oops for him, and he goes up and gets them and throws it down. He's got a lot of lift again.

Tmac is actually doing pretty good at the point with Detroit, if he continues to play like that, he might be 25% of his prime

It's interesting what this will do to his value. Teams looked at him before as primarily as a scorer who lost his explosiveness. But he is showing that he is a great point guard who can manage the game, distribute the ball, and still get his own. It will be interesting to see what contenders will want him this offseason.

He had 20 more points tonight in a nice win over the Bucks.

I had thought about getting the NBA broadband league pass awhile back so I could watch my Knicks play and some other teams. I'm not a Piston fan, but they were one of the teams I was going to choose just so I could watch T-mac play... Glad to hear he's putting up some good numbers.

It's been pretty awesome to see him play at some percentage of his former level. However, when we signed him, I figured it was to allow him to rebuild his value before getting moved to a contender at the deadline.

What do you guys think we (the Pistons) could get back for him at the deadline?

Think about what the various Contenders need. None of them need a PG.

I'd prefer Tracy over Jameer, but they already have Arenas who is still shakey.

Or u put him w/ Lebron and Wade, but it seems Tracy needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

If your askinh him to be the starting PG on a contender I dont see where he could fit. He's not going to do what he's been doing at 20/25 mins per game as a bench player.

I just dont see where he could fit.

He cant bump Mike Conley in Memphis. Maybe Minnestota?

                      Beasley
                      Love
                      Darko

Thats a better situation than Detroit. I dont know Rubio's status.

Very little, considering he is only making 1.3 million. The Pistons don't want to trade him though. He's the only true point guard on their team. They don't want Stuckey at PG anymore, plus he is hurt.

I dont think there is any chance he gets traded.

Also, look at how well Greg Monroe has been ever since Tracy began starting. The other players don't seem willing to throw it in for Monroe but McGrady sets him up for easy buckets every game. This last month Monroe has been outstanding. (11.7 pts, 9.1 rebs per game since jan 4)

You could make the argument that TMac has been the Pistons most consistent and possibly BEST player this year. Tayshaun would have something to say about that though.

Consistent? I'm not sure about that. T-Mac had pretty awful games earlier this season.

Maybe it's just my short term memory of the recent games. I'll say ever since he became a starter he's been consistent though.

edit: I also looked up the stats and he's only averaging about 8/3/3 for the year so it looks like I got a little ahead of myself there lol. 7 straight games in double figures must have clouded my early season memories

Tayshaun has been the most consistent (shooting almost 50%) although he has struggled recently. He will be traded soon.

But McGrady has probably been the most valuable. He's making other players better and that is what Stuckey doesn't do.
