I do agree that he's decent at the point and it's fun to see him playing again. Wouldn't call him great, as he's not even close to being great at anything. Maybe a great guy...

Re: Tracy McGrady
Also, look at how well Greg Monroe has been ever since Tracy began starting. The other players don't seem willing to throw it in for Monroe but McGrady sets him up for easy buckets every game. This last month Monroe has been outstanding. (11.7 pts, 9.1 rebs per game since jan 4)
You could make the argument that TMac has been the Pistons most consistent and possibly BEST player this year. Tayshaun would have something to say about that though.
T-Mac has established a good rapport with both Greg Monroe and Chris Wilcox running high pick & rolls. Some of T-Mac's passing skills is actually beginning to rub off on Will Bynum as Bynum is now starting to execute P&Rs with the bigs better as of late.

Re: Tracy McGrady
The thing is, with T-Mac, it's not like we're going anywhere this year. If someone puts up a good offer might as well take it. Unless you think we should bring him back next year, but what if he gets injured again?Comment

Re: Tracy McGrady
I wouldn't offer T-Mac for trade unless the deal he's involved in blows me away. He's been too good for the team considering his current relative contract value.
As for chances of T-Mac seriously re-injuring himself, I've heard the same thing said about Antono McDyess about his troublesome knee over and over again back when he first signed with the Pistons after going through his injury-plagued stints in New York and Phoenix. But look at McDyess now. He's been playing well with no hint of knee problems ever since and is still being counted on to contribute for the Spurs. Arnie Kander works magic. T-Mac should be alright as long as he listens to what Kander asks him to do.

Re: Tracy McGrady
I think it depends on the game style. If T-Mac doesn't try too hard to go to the basket or force himself to score, he can survive the season with no problems. My Specs:

Re: Tracy McGrady
Can we finally agree that he'd be a great third or fourth wheel on a contender?
Hopefully he goes somewhere else next year and gets out of the first roundComment
