26-8-4 are MVP like numbers IMO. He isn't up there but he is no doubt in the convo. The wins will come once they get Boozer. Plus the 7 game West Coast trip always takes a hit at their record early on in the season. This is the best I've seen the Bulls on this trip since the MJ days.

I was one of those people. Noah's game evolved so rapidly.... it's just like he's doing the same thigns he was at Florida.... in the NBA.

His work ethic is amazing and it shows especially this season how much work he's put in. Plus he never stops, never quits, he gets a lot of hate, sometimes rightfully so but if he's on your team you absolutely love the kid.

Straight up man. Don't get me wrong when we have those scoring droughts Melo's scoring looks real good, but that can be fixed in a single offseason. You let this core grow together, at least Rose/Noah and you can't pay me to believe that a Noahless Bulls with Melo is closer to a 'chip than this squad with a solid 2 is.

Yeah, I really can't believe how good Noah has gotten. I remember seeing him in his rookie year when the Bulls still had Ben Wallace and things weren't going too good.

Now he's the 2nd best player on the Bulls, in a good way.

Man the improvements this guy has made is some of the biggest I have ever seen. I mean he was almost ran out of town as rookie and was looking like a waste of a pick. Now his value to the team can't even be measured. I mean he hustles as hard as anybody in the league, gives his all every minute of every game, passes as well as any big in the game, and is one of the very best rebounders in the league. It is amazing.

The thing about the Melo talk with needing a closer/scoring is that IMO they already have that with Derrick. I know it's unconventional to have your PG be that guy, but Derrick isn't like most PGs.

He has never, even in college, given me a reason to hate on him.

He's produced, won titles, and is just a blue collar guy who competes on both ends. And now he looks more polished with every game.

I've never not liked Noah. Bad *** guy. I'd give up my right nut for him on Phoenix.

Basically people wanna have it both ways. People are saying he should just play the 2 cause he doesn't play like a PG anyway, but then some mystical force of nature is going to keep the Bulls from winning a 'chip cause he's a 1 that is your leading scorer in the next breath. Like I've said all along, Rose can be that guy. All this team needs is a legit starting 2 who can take 10-15 points of the scoring load off Derrick and Carlos' shoulders. When they got that, they're going to do some damage.

I dunno though King, if Chicago won with this current team, they would be bucking a trend [scoring PG winning a chip].

I'm still weary of considering Chicago as a title contender, but they sure as hell look better than their record and to me are still top 4 in their conference. I'm going to wait for Boozer to make conclusions.

Derrick is what he is, a point. I've never understood the nonsense talk of putting him as a two. As you mentioned all they need is to get a starting two guard that can spread the floor. Every other position is covered. No idea who this two guard might be or how they would even go about acquiring him.

Either way this team has played very well without their big FA acquisition. I was getting worried they would just run out of gas in the 2nd OT after that back to back from LA but they got it done.
