Will we ever see 81 or more from Kobe again? He seems to have extinguished that fire which made him explode randomly for obscene numbers 3-4 years ago.

Are we done with Kobe?

The only fire that made him explode for obscene numbers was trying to prove to people that the Lakers were now his team and not Shaq's, garbage talent surrounding him (Smush Parker FTW!), and a much worse attitude than he has now.

We're never going to see him go for 81 again simply because he doesn't need to. The guys around him now are too good to have to do that. Not to mention the fact that he's 31 now and has played in the league since he was 18 so his body is beginning to show that wear and tear. He doesn't have the same hops he had a few years back and has lost a little bit of his quickness.

All that said though he's still in the conversation for best player in the world.

Not sure what you mean by that post about Kobe.

Until the year 2007-2008, Kobe had never really "got it" in terms of shot selection/leadership on the court.

I don't get how it was random that he scored 81. His penchant for taking as many shots as possible was unmatched by any player in NBA history in the years immediately following Shaq's departure.

Also what do you mean are we done with Kobe.

George Hill has been ballin lately off the bench. He's putting his name into the running for 6th man of the year. Hope he keeps it up, I'm not interested in seeing the Manu to the bench routine again.

Where ya'll been at? I been mentioned on here that The Hump was dating Kim. Why do you think he's been playing good all of a sudden this year

As for the game, I expected that we would lose but I was proud of how this team kept playing hard out there and didn't pack it in whenever Kobe would get in his zone.

Few thoughts:

-I swear if it wasn't for Ex or Born, my hatred of Laker "Fans" would match that of Matrix's hatred.

-I was glad to see the old T-Will out there, who was attacking the basket and being active on the boards instead of just chucking up jumpers everytime he got the ball like he used to do before he was sent down to the D-League.

-Brook Lopez needs to get Hakeem's number from Dwight. It's not that he doesn't have a post game, but I'm sure Hakeem could help Brook improve some of those moves for.

-The Hump is a rebounding machine out there. Kind of like a light skin Ben Wallace minus the fro but with a better looking woman as well

This team is good and has shown that by being in just about every one of it's games despite playing the toughest schedule in the league so far. But it's also painfully obvious that we have no "go to" scorer out there, where when we need a Basket we can get it. Devin is not that guy neither is Jordan neither is Morrow and neither is Brook.

Nets always have problems in the 4th quarter, Was rooting for them today..... nets also missed out on some missed technicals on kobe, he gets away with murder, had it been ron he probably would of been suspended for 20 games

I will say this though:

Whatever happened to the "If you look at the Ref wrong = Instant T" thing because I swear Kobe got away with a few of those today

I'm not one to bitch and moan about poor officiating but on THAT particular front, I don't see how he didn't recieve not one.

It was really a shame we couldn't get a win for Big Ben in a game where he played so well. 23 points for him is nuts, 14 boards, 5 steals, 4 assists....
